CYBERPUNK EDGERUNNERS DAVID'S APARTMENT SHADOWBOX
CYBERPUNK EDGERUNNERS DAVID'S APARTMENT SHADOWBOX
Shine a spotlight on David’s backstory.
Every edgerunner has a backstory. David Martinez’ starts here, in a megabuilding apartment in Night City. It’s a little cluttered and worse for wear, sure, but to have a roof over your head and a couch to lounge on while diving into braindances? Those are privileges not everyone can afford; not to mention being able to watch the cityscape glow beyond the wide window. And lucky for you, you don’t have to sneak in through an air vent to enjoy this view!
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners David’s Apartment Shadowbox makes clever use of light and layers. At first glance it’s a straightforward piece of environment art — but when you switch it on, watch the mood change as light hits the floor and ceiling. In a dark room, this illuminating effect is amplified even more, with the black-out plate creating sharp shadows. If you turn the light sensor on, the shadowbox will light up automatically in dark surroundings, changing the mood of the scene in real time.
See it in action by checking out the video demonstration in the gallery, then make it yours and experience a moment of rare domestic peace in Night City for yourself — all in the comfort of your own home.
